SIGNED CD! Legendary, Mississippi-born bluesman Charlie Musselwhite is my neighbor here in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and he and his lovely wife Henri are regular visitors at Cat Head — often to the surprise of unsuspecting tourists! They pressed up these new copies of the otherwise out-of-print "Delta Hardware" CD for an Australian tour and nicely dropped a few off at Cat Head. They're signed and feature the old Delta Wholesale Hardware building (about a block away from where I'm sitting) on the cover. As he sings on this classic release, "[He] was born in Mississippi and raised in Memphis..." Sweet!
