NEW, SIGNED CD! Legendary, Mississippi-born bluesman Charlie Musselwhite is my neighbor here in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and he and his lovely wife Henri are regular visitors at Cat Head — often to the surprise of unsuspecting tourists! "Mississippi Son" is his new CD, and he thoughfully signed all of the copies we're selling. (His signature is so perfect that it looks like it was printed onto the CD jackets, but I swear he signed 'em!) It's a wonderful new, traditional blues release that was recorded two blocks away from my store at Clarksdale Sound Stage. It features Charlie singing, blowing harmonica and playing guitar. Oh, and that's not a rented "prop" car on the cover; that's Charlie's old Caddy.
